Kitakata, Fukushima, Japan｜Hasegawa

Easily the best ramen I've had in Japan. Totally worth the 3hour drive plus 45 minute wait time. Although they also offer shio (salt), miso, and seabura (pork backfat) varieties, the best has to be the oroginal shoyu (soy sauce) soup. The egg and chashu toppings are fantastic as well.

It was my first time to eat Kitakata ramen in its hometown. It's like reconsidering Kitakata ramen. It had a shocking taste. It was delicious anyway❣️ Also, it was amazing how quickly the food was served once we were seated.
