Aizuwakamatsu, Fukushima, Japan｜Kitakata Ramen Raimu Aizuwakamatsu station branch

Firm, wavy noodles contrasted by a bed of soft pork in a hot broth... It was everything I want from a bowl of Kitakata ramen. The egg was a nice bonus. The fifth star is for intangibles: three weeks into November, with the entire country barreling towards Christmas, this place still had its Halloween decorations up, which warmed by heart as well as the soup warmed the rest of me.

Kitakata ramen is soy sauce based soup, a bit salty though - personally I found it really delicious.

Great ramen. Great place. Enjoy it.
