More Comments at Google MapI came here to eat Shirakawa ramen after a long time. I visited once before, but it was closed on a holiday, so this is my first visit. Visited a little after 11 o'clock on a weekday. The parking lot for about 10 cars is half full, and the inside of the store is already 60% full. The store has 3 counters, 5 tables, and 2 raised floors. Ordered soy sauce ramen and chashu men. It wasn't on the menu, but the customer at the counter received something that looked like ramen and a bowl of rice. I wonder if it's also a secret menu? The rice bowl is ready in about 5 minutes. Delivery is early. Instead of the classic Shirakawa ramen spinach, it has wakame seaweed. The soup has a gentle flavor with plenty of flavor. The noodles are slightly soft and curly. Very delicious. The char siu has a firm texture that I like, and the more you chew, the more delicious it becomes. The soy sauce ramen costs 650 yen, which is a good value. I'm also curious about miso, so I'll try it next time.
I stopped by on my way around 1pm on weekdays. It was a great success, with mostly elderly people, and almost full! It's a popular store. An elderly mother and her two daughters run the business. This time I ordered soy sauce ramen (large serving) for ¥750. Chewy flat noodles typical of Shirakawa ramen. It was quite delicious. Many of the customers around me were eating miso ramen, so I wanted to try miso next time.
This is the first restaurant I ate at when I was in junior high school. It's been about 40 years, but I still go there. There has been a ramen boom before, and the restaurant was ranked Yokozuna in the Tokyo Ad rankings. I can guarantee the taste. This is a representative Shirakawa ramen shop that you should definitely visit.
