I've eaten Shirakawa ramen at various restaurants, but this one is the best for me. A very famous restaurant was closed, so I went to see if there was a good one nearby and went in. I ordered char siu noodles and char siu rice bowl. The moment it came out, I thought, ``This is absolutely delicious,'' and I ate it right away. Crisp soy sauce-based soup, medium-thick curly, chewy noodles. Delicious noodles with a strong elasticity. The char siu is made from pork loin rather than pork belly, so it has just the right amount of flavor, but it doesn't interfere with the soup and still retains its meaty texture, making it delicious. I topped it with a flavored egg, but it's not the type that has a strong flavor, but it's just the right kind of anbai to eat with the noodles and soup. The inside of the store was clean and the staff was efficient. You can park in front of the store and on the side, but since the front of the store faces the road, it can be a little difficult to park. This is just my personal opinion, but it was really delicious 😋
First time, Shirakawa Ramen On my way north from the Kanto region for the three-day weekend, I went to a certain famous restaurant that I had searched for, and it was so busy that I had to wait for two hours, so I decided to come here. It was a light rainy afternoon, and there were only 2 or 3 groups in line, so we decided to go here. I was able to park my car in front of the store, but there also seems to be parking on the side and back. Since it was my first time to have Shirakawa ramen, I ordered simple ramen and chashu noodles. It said that it was often sold out, but luckily I was able to get the char siu in the last place. The inside of the store is simple and clean. The staff at the restaurant were very polite while I was waiting, and I was seated very comfortably. I don't usually eat ramen so I don't know much about the vocabulary, but it feels like a more elegant version of the Kitakata ramen I've had before, and the soup is so delicious that you'll want to drink it up! The menma had a gentle taste, and the spinach and seaweed were a nice touch that I never got tired of. I don't think I come to this area very often, but if I have a chance to visit Shirakawa again, I would definitely like to try Mugen's ramen again.
