I avoided all the other popular restaurants and went to Takaraya Shokudo, which had reviews that said it was a hidden gem of Shirakawa ramen. The recommendation seems to be the menma ramen, but I simply ordered the handmade ramen for 700 yen. Extra 100 yen for a large serving. To be honest, I have received Shirakawa ramen many times, but this is delicious. The soup is a little less soy sauce rich, but it's a taste you won't get tired of. The crunchiness of the noodles and the softness of the chashu are also good. A hidden well-known store, the proprietress was kind, and the store had a calm atmosphere.
