I found a shop where I could eat Kitakata ramen in a place relatively close to the hotel I was staying in Koriyama and visited. Speaking of Kitakata ramen, the image of char siu that covers the entire surface of the rice bowl. Without hesitation, I ordered the Kitakata char siu noodles (1,080 yen), which is the most popular item on the menu. It's been decades since I ate Kitakata ramen. The last time I ate it, I was still a child, so I didn't really understand it, but now that I'm an adult, I'm going to understand. Kitakata ramen is delicious. It looks like a light soup and is quite firm. Slurp the strongly curly, firm noodles while flipping the soup. The char siu is thicker than expected and this number (about 10 pieces?) Is more than enough. I feel that it is different from "melting pork" like the notation, but it feels like it is boiled softly while maintaining a firm meaty feeling. Raimu, a chain store, is already very satisfied, but isn't it like this when you go to the home of Kitakata? .

The usual Kitakata ramen An exquisite combination of plenty of flavorful char siu, smooth soup, and curly Kitakata noodles.

This is one of the famous Kitakata ramen shops, and I can't go into the main branch in Kitakata City because there are so many idiots. However, it is difficult to get here by train, and since first-time eaters don't eat in Koriyama, it's not that crowded and there is a parking lot. It's pretty good. I actually tried the main store twice, but couldn't get in, so I just popped in yesterday and had my first taste. The clear soy sauce soup, firm and chewy medium-thick noodles, and the chashu pork on top...it was really delicious...!
