Hachioji, Tokyo, Japan｜Yataizushi Hachioji Nakamachi

Best まぐろ in Hachioji! Staff is friendly, food is delicious, and alcohol ain't that bad. 5/5 would recommend.

I used it after work. It's about a 10 minute walk from Hachioji Station. There are about 3 stores within walking distance from Hachioji Station, so it must be a well-known store. I had to work late that day, so I went to this restaurant to celebrate my hard work. There are counter seats, table seats, and horigotatsu seats in the store, and this time I was guided to a table seat. There were many customers even at late hours. This time, we each ordered what we wanted to eat, so we ordered salmon roe, salmon, tuna, red sea bream, salad rolls, tekka cucumber rolls, fries, and fried octopus. For drinks, we all ordered beer and toasted! There was no specific explanation about the appetizer, so I'm not sure what it was, but it was refreshing and delicious. All of the sushi was thick and had a consistent weight to it, making it very satisfying to eat. The good point is that it has a good texture and taste, is filling, and is reasonably priced. I enjoyed the scrolls as a snack. Each piece of fried octopus was fairly large, so the number was a little small. One plate may not be enough to share with multiple people. However, the octopus was plump and the seasoning that goes well with the alcoholic beverages, which is unique to deep-fried chicken, was very good! The beer was well chilled and I was impressed by how quickly it was served. After eating and drinking, I left the restaurant. Thank you for the meal.

Always use the Nakamachi store for the first party. Fried chicken wings and hosomaki with wasabi are my go-to menu every time! I recommend it.
