Super friendly staff. My friend and I are offered an English menu because the staff knows we are tourists. The staff came to show me the equivalence in the English menu and the Japanese menu, and tried explaining and responding to our questions. The sashimi and sushi are unbeatable- fresh, good quality with variety. My friend ordered sashimi don and I ordered sushi platter. We added an oyster and a sashimi platter- full but really enjoy the good food. Recommended!

It’s very close to odawara station. Their special menu is jizakana sushi. (2400 yen) meaning local fish sushi. I had it and it was just yummy.

A small traditional sushiya with a few counter seats on the ground floor and four low tables on tatami floor upstairs. The menu is only in Japanese, without photos and even without prices indicated for individual nigiri. I don't think that the staff speaks English (we were greeted in Japanese and only spoke Japanese when ordering), so good Japanese skills, including kanji reading, is essential. The food is excellent and the nihonshu (sake) was truly amazing (try the junmai ginjo at 800 yen per cup).
