Kamakura, Kanagawa, Japan｜Teishoku-ya Shamoji

Delicious! So glad we found this place for dinner! My husband and I shared the omelette set meal, the whitebait set meal, a side of fried chicken, and mugs of beer. Nothing disappointed. We added the recommended sauces, tried all three, and each had great flavor. Service was super, some English was spoken, and they have a menu in English too, for easy ordering. Prices are very reasonable, especially for all the food the meals come with. If we had more nights in Kamakura we would definitely eat here again.

The sashimi was undeniably fresh. The meguro just melts in your mouth,making me want to save it for my last bite. The omelet, too, was a pleasant surprise. It was light and fluffy. English and Japanese menu available.

A very good restaurant that looks unassuming on the outside, but has great food on the inside. The sashimi was great, very good flavor and texture no matter what you have. The other dishes were equally delicious. Service was great and overall, was a great experience. Well worth a stop if you want some good sashimi (raw fish).
