I found this shop when I was taking a walk around Oshima on Monday! The shop was closed on Mondays, so I visited again on another day! Take the bus bound for Kamioshima from Hashimoto Station and get off at Uchide, and you will see an okonomiyaki restaurant made of tin that looks like the Showa era! The name of the shop is Fujiya, where you can enjoy okonomiyaki, yakisoba, yakiudon, shaved ice, and large-sized okonomiyaki at a low price. Inside the store, there are tables with iron plates and tatami seats, and it feels nostalgic and warm! When I entered the store, the stylish owner recommended a table seat and I sat down! I look at the menu with excitement and order a large serving of egg yakisoba from the stylish owner! After getting permission from the owner to take a picture, I could hear the crisp sound of hitting the iron plate and the smell of the sauce burning! I closed my eyes for about 5 minutes and enjoyed the sound of the iron plate and the scent of the sauce. Egg yakisoba is a cute yakisoba with a fried egg as its charm point, and the sweet scent of the sauce and the scent of bonito flakes will whet your appetite. The noodles are thick and go well with the sauce, and when you bite into them, you can feel the elasticity of the noodles. The ingredients are simple with bean sprouts and cabbage, but the umami of the sauce and the umami of the vegetables are highly compatible and overall delicious! And if you eat the fried egg yolk mixed with the noodles, the yakisoba will be even more delicious with the roundness of the yolk added!
