More Comments at Google MapMr. Ikeya's takoyaki was discovered where Fujiya used to be! As a takoyaki refugee like myself, this is a great shop since the Gindako that used to be located just outside the ticket gate of Futamatagawa Station has disappeared. I immediately received 6 pieces of original sauce in the white and orange shop. When you break it open with your chopsticks, the inside is fluffy and soft, and you'll be surprised at how different the texture is from regular takoyaki. It's covered in a sweet sauce and has plenty of octopus inside. It was piping hot. It's going to become a habit! Six pieces of original sauce for 627 yen including tax. The same product costs 615 yen to take home. In addition, dashi soy sauce, green onion salt, lemon, and truffle salt are available in 6 and 8 pieces. Also, this pack of 23 world record packs is a nod to Mr. Ikeya's record of 23 vaulting jumps, which will be a hit at parties. Eating in the restaurant is 2,200 yen, take-out is 2,160 yen. I think I'll try buying it next time.
Located on Futamatagawa Joinus Terrace. This is where Fujiya was located. It seems to feature Naoki Ikeya. It's delicious, but the price is 720 yen for 8 pieces, and since it's takoyaki, there may not be another one.
The restaurant is run by Naoki Ikeya, who I've watched on TV since I was little, so I went there the other day by taking the Shinkansen and train! The atmosphere inside the store is great, and there is a monitor in the eat-in space that shows footage of the ``Sportsman No. 1 Tournament''! I ordered the takoyaki with the original sauce flavor, and it was very flavorful and delicious! Also, in terms of service, on days when Mr. Ikeya himself is in the store, if the timing is right, you can take a photo and get an autograph, so be sure to stop by!
