Nara, Japan｜タイ食堂アロイアロイ

I came from the States to tour Japan. I went to see Nara, coming from Osaka for the day, and walked 2.5km from Nara Park to here just to experience this place. And it certainly didn't disappoint! I had their signature dish カオマンガイ (Kaomangai) and it was incredibly tasty. The rice was cooked and seasoned perfectly. The meat was tender, and their sauces complemented well. The side soup was great too. Portion was perfect. I was incredibly satisfied. To me, it was a sweet break from all the traditional Japanese cuisine. If you're hesitating, don't! I would love to return to try their other dishes! And the owner was so kind too! Thank you so much.

Delicious authentic thai food. Loved the kra pow gai and green curry. Highly recommend. Cosy place. Prices are great also.

Great little place to get an authentic Thai experience. The staff were very friendly, speak Thai, English, and Japanese, and made our experience even better. They serve a dish called SomTam which they can make spicier for you. It’s REALLY spicy so be careful but it’s delicious. We will definitely come back.
