On November 15, 2018 (Thursday), “Otori Chaya Tada” opened as a resting place in front of Washinomiya Shrine, so I went there immediately. Since November is the season of Shichigosan, I saw many families with Shichigosan in the parking lot of the shrine in front of me. By the way, the parking lot seems to be shared with the parking lot of Washinomiya Shrine. The ceiling is low because it is a renovated old house. The light is at a height close to eye level. You don't have to worry about getting hurt if you bump into it, but please be careful. Like an old private house, the beams on the ceiling are solid and splendid. It was clean and well maintained with an old feel. On the day of our visit, the weather was nice and the sun was shining, and the air on the porch was warm. The name of the store is "Den" of "Dengaku" and "Den" of "Oden", which seems to be "Denden". That's why Dengaku and Oden are recommended for the menu. There was also seaweed ramen for those who want to go a little more, so I chose chicken thigh skewers and radish with that ramen and oden separately. Since the store has just opened, the unfamiliar feeling of the store clerk is charming. Seaweed ramen is salt-based. Kansai style (?) Feeling light. It was written that it was a double soup using shrimp stock and chicken bones. maybe original? It's fresh when you get used to the strong taste. It tastes fine and delicious. Surprisingly large. Oden chicken thigh skewer ... Yavai. Soft (゚д゚*) Uma! Horohoro~ (*´ρ`) Just this and rice is enough. Of course, the radish also tasted and was delicious. The sausage seems to be bigger than usual... I'll order it next time I go. The shop itself basically feels like a real tea house where shrine worshipers can have a light lunch or take a break while eating sweets. So it seems that there are also sweets such as “Imo Yokan”, “Dorayaki” and “Western-style Daifuku”. There is also "Kobucha" soft drink, so it might be nice to enjoy the atmosphere of a teahouse. It seems that alcohol is also handled, but it seems that it does not seem to be so enthusiastic due to business hours. However, sake is sake, but amazake is recommended. It seems that there is also ice cream, which is a staple of teahouses, so you can buy it after visiting the shrine. postscript: Please note that due to the influence of the corona virus, it will only be open on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays, and as of 2023, it will still be open every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.

A tea shop that caught my eye when I came to visit. I was tired, so I decided to take a lunch break. The ramen was delicious d('∀'*)

It is located in front of the gate of Washinomiya Shrine, about 7-8 minutes on foot from Washinomiya Station. When going from Higashi-Washinomiya Station, take the Asahi Bus bound for Toyono Community Center and get off at Washinomiya-jinja-mae. The inside of the store is beautiful and has a calm atmosphere. Since it was a weekday afternoon when I entered, there were few customers and I was able to spend a leisurely time. I ordered the seaweed ramen, which has a very rich flavor and goes well with the cooked rice that I ordered in the set. Sweets and soft drinks are also available, so light meals are OK.
