More Comments at Google MapWith a name like Ramen Birdman, I figured it has to be worth a try. They have a few offerings, but they’re known for their Toripaitan Chicken Broth salt-based ramen, so I ordered it for 780¥ along with their Special for 200¥ which adds chashu and a half-boiled egg. The presentation was quite lovely, but the taste was even more exquisite. The soup was amazingly rich, smooth, and more chicken broth than a cream taste I’ve had at many other chicken-based ramen shops. The two pieces of chashu were interesting and had different flavors and textures. The chicken slice and egg were quite tasty, though both a bit over cooked. The additional highlight of the meal, though, were the noodles which had a nice, chewy texture. If the portion size was a bit more, I’d be an even happier eater. (You can add extra kaedama noodles for 150¥.) Unfortunately, I don’t think Michael Keaton will show up anytime soon to give it a try. But you should.
Ramen is delicious!
It was close to closing at night, but they were very polite to me, including an explanation of the parking lot. The salt ramen, the full set chashu bowl and fried chicken were also very delicious. It's a shop I want to stop by when I go to Wakayama again!
