I used to live right behind this restaurant so we would eat here a lot back then, not only because it was near and convenient but for its food and environment. I have to say that my favorite thing at Kairikiya are the large and long tables and benches!! They fit way more people than most restaurants in Japan do. We've had a lot of family "gatherings" here for that reason, and also because they don't rush us into leaving the restaurant asap, we've always felt comfortable enjoying a great meal with nice conversation. I recommend the gyouza (dumplings) and karaage (fried chicken) and my favorite kind of ramen is the miso one but the others are very good as well.
