The day of the reservation was Friday, and it was raining, so it was reserved. I ordered a full course meal. I was able to thoroughly enjoy each item as it was made using the very best ingredients. Unfortunately, I couldn't see the flowers in the garden because of the rain, so I'd like to go again on a sunny day.
Lunch kaiseki was delicious. This time I had the lunch B course. The main dish, the scallop meuniere with nut butter sauce, was exquisite. Lunch kaiseki with a friend for the first time in a while. Lunch kaiseki must be reserved at least one day in advance for groups of two or more people. It was still early in the rose season, but the clematis were starting to bloom and were beautiful. The white hydrangeas are also blooming in the spring sunlight, competing with other flowers. I forgot to take a photo of the food, the main meat dish and the salad. It's lunch kaiseki, so even though it's meat, you can eat it in two bites. I think it was the onion sauce. It was delicious. The oyster gratin that was included as an appetizer was also very delicious. Fish dishes too. Lunch alone during the season when the garden is beautiful with roses and clematis. I thought the full course would make me sick to my stomach, so I chose the half course B course. The hors d'oeuvre is a scallop and salmon gateau. A perfect flavor for the green season. The soup is a potage of potatoes and apples. I was wondering if this combination existed as well when I received it. The main dish was roasted black tea duck with black tea flavored sauce. And the dessert was gateau chocolate and mango mousse. It's always delicious. It was a relaxing moment while looking at the roses and clematis that could be seen from the window.
