Musashino, Tokyo, Japan｜Le Coin

Found this place in a Japanese magazine and thought to give it a try. Very cozy -- only seats 12 people -- but casual and friendly, at-home French fare. Had the mixed vegetables, onion soup (fantastic! the pepper really made it), white asparagus risotto, and chicken cutlet -- all were filling and perfect. Very good wine selection by the glass, had chenin blanc and viognier for about 4000 yen per person at dinner. Sure you can get fancier for the same price, but not the same amount and relaxed atmosphere.

I visited for lunch for the first time on the recommendation of an acquaintance. About 15 minutes on foot from JR Mitaka Station. The inside of the store is a small restaurant that can fit 10 people in total, but the atmosphere was very nice. I saw a post on Instagram the other day about a steak with porcini mushroom sauce, and thought I'd try the same thing, but this time I got a hamburger because it changes daily. A wide variety of wines are also available. The hamburger that arrived at the table was very juicy and the well-simmered demiglace sauce was also excellent. It was an area that I myself have not been to Mitaka much, but from now on I want to come to Mitaka to come to Mr. Cowan ♡ It was a feast!

A shop with a nice atmosphere that can be used for everyday use, anniversaries, or for private reservations. Enjoy great food at reasonable prices.
