More Comments at Google MapI had the speciality hayashi rice with rolled cabbage filled with meat in a creamy sauce (think white gravy) This is one of the best thing I ate so far in Japan 😋
We came here for the cabbage rolls and they didn't disappoint! It was a rainy day in Shinjuku and this was exactly what we needed. I wish the quality of pork had been better but that's the only issue I had with the dish. The Omburi on the other hand was disappointing because I was hoping the omelette would open up into a soft scramble, as is typical with this type of omelette, but it didn't. The omelette itself was nice and thin but the rice didn't have much flavor so I'd recommend passing on this dish. The pork katsu was crispy and well done! Would definitely go back for the cabbage roll and katsu.
