La Morille. A very cozy and affordable Japanese-French diner that serves excellently cooked simple dishes. Both nostalgic (reminds me of 70s era bistros) and exotic (in true japanese style, the salad dressing is soya sauce based as is the steak sauce and instead of a bread basket, one gets a small plate of rice). End the meal with black coffee sweetened with honey (bizarre but oddly nice and soothing). Lotsa fun. Will be back.

The food itself was delicious, but I was surprised that the price was cheap compared to the quality of the food. I ordered a hamburger steak for lunch, and it wasn't a hamburger with all the meat mashed up, but a hamburger with a definite texture. The side menu is also full of flavor. However, the owner seems to be working alone, so you may have to wait a bit if the store is crowded. It's great for taking your time and enjoying your meal. I would like to visit again!

The current business hours are 11:30 to 14:00 and 17:30. However, it may be closed if there are no customers, so it would be best to call to confirm at night.
