"Salamange de Yoshino/Kamakura Station" A cozy French restaurant run by a couple on the first floor of a private house. There are about 3 to 4 tables available for reservation. Salamange means "dining room". When the chef went to France to train in French cuisine, he apparently visited the countryside and was so moved by the hospitality he received there that he decided to use that as the concept for his cuisine. This hospitality involves serving many dishes and spending many hours eating them together. Naturally, this store also follows this concept, with each item being voluminous. We know that some customers may not be able to eat all they can eat, so what they can't eat can be taken out. All of the courses were wonderfully delicious, consisting of fresh natural fish caught at Sashima Fishing Port, seasonal vegetables, and delicious meat. I almost fell in love with the texture and flavor of eating the baguette with dukkah (a Middle Eastern seasoning) made with olive oil and sesame seeds, but I saved it. All of the dishes were exquisitely crafted, so I wanted to split them into two halves. It was a feast!

I visited in May 2022 and ordered a dinner course (9,350 yen) and a wine full pairing course (7,200 yen). It is a house-style restaurant with a stylish interior, and the tables are spaced far apart, so you can relax and enjoy your meal. The course meals used plenty of seasonal local ingredients, and the portions were large, so I was able to fully enjoy each dish and ingredients. In particular, the ceviche using pepper daisies, oval squid, and cucumbers, and the half-rare appetizer of roasted barracuda were very creative and delicious. I was satisfied with the wine pairing that matched well with the food. The staff's explanation of the food and wine was polite, and the hospitality was pleasant.

Everything is creative, very delicious, and the hospitality is wonderful. Also, the volume of the course meal is surprising. Kamakura vegetables and local things (seafood) are well cooked.
