Very high quality food, drinks and service.

Enjoy authentic French cuisine in a cozy old private house with a calm and relaxing atmosphere, located in a residential area with plenty of greenery. It is also attractive that you can enjoy the scenery of each season from the large windows. By the way, this building is a renovated residence of Hirono Saegusa, the second principal of Kamakura Academia. I was able to enjoy a relaxing meal while feeling the history and nature of Kamakura. When you enter the front door, you will be greeted by a lovely madam. All dishes are prepared by a chef with many years of experience working in France. The chef is originally from Yokohama, and moved to France from Epventailles in Osaka. After training for five years at Le Sanglier des Sardenne in Belgium, he served as head chef at a French restaurant in Kanazawa and head chef at the official residence of the Belgian Embassy in Japan. After that, he opened Le Marcassin in Kanazawa in 2004, and then came to Kita-Kamakura. The dishes prepared by the chef, who has a lot of experience, were all beautiful to look at and tasted delicious with a variety of combinations. We offer healthy menus made with seasonal ingredients such as Kamakura vegetables and seafood from Hokuriku. I was particularly impressed with the main dish of duck meat. It was truly the most delicious duck I've ever eaten and I was really impressed. The gateau chocolat, made with 100% Belgian chocolate carefully selected by the chef, was also delicious with a mildly sweet finish. The moss art displayed on each table and wall was cute and impressive. The cutlery and plates are also very good. Sorry to bother you again.

【place】 It is located about a 5-minute walk from Kita-Kamakura, and is in a quiet location one street away from the main street. 【atmosphere】 The shop had a bamboo forest and flowers, and it had a nice calm feel. There is also terrace seating where you can eat while looking out at the garden. 【cooking】 The chef apparently worked as the head chef at the Belgian Embassy in Japan, and all of the dishes were delicious. The tableware and cutlery were all made with special care, and it was visually enjoyable. The reward lunch course is just the right amount for women. It was a store I would like to visit again.
