Yokohama, Kanagawa, Japan｜Marques Gastronomy & Wine

We have vacationed for almost 6 weeks and our last stop in Yokohama (amazing city) is as memorable as dining at this low key restaurant. Chef Marques is really a talented chef and he credits his lovely wife for his tasteful and unique dishes. I picked this restaurant to celebrate my wife’s birthday and hope for a more personable and defined eating experience and we got it. My son who only likes sushi and dislikes anything else but ate most of the dishes. My wife and I thought the dishes were very eclectic! It’s a fusion between Japanese, French and Middle Eastern, and we enjoyed every dish. I highly recommend this place!

Enjoyed the lunch! The food tasted and looked so perfect, and with excellent service to match. Chef graciously made a last min adjustment on the dessert after I mentioned an ingredient we didn't like in there, really appreciated that. The alternative cinnamon ice cream was excellent! I'll love to be back to try the bigger lunch course with wine pairing, I bet that would be another memorable dining experience.

Best meal I had in Japan. Very intimate experience with the some of the most meticulous and thoughtfully crafted food I’ve ever experienced. I’m so grateful to have eaten here and connected with these wonderful people. It is expensive so be prepared, it’s also worth it and will exceed expectations
