More Comments at Google MapFrom the east exit of Konosu Station on the JR Takasaki Line, walk along the track toward Omiya for about 10 minutes, and you'll find it right next to the railroad crossing. I felt that the parking lot was not very large. The menu includes udon, soba, and rice dishes, but this time I had Konosu's specialty, Kawahaba udon. I ordered a set that included tempura and Oinarisan, and it was very filling and I was very satisfied! In particular, Kawahaba udon is chewy and filling in a way that cannot be compared to regular udon. However, if children or the elderly are eating it, it may be a good idea to be careful not to choke on it. ・・・. Since the store is right next to the railroad tracks, I was happy to be able to see the trains from the window as I love trains (lol). The number of seats is relatively large, and there are chair seats and tatami mats. By the way, the seat where you can see the train is the tatami room in the back on the right side as you enter (lol).
It was my first visit in five years. Until last time, I had used it for dinner after walking around Poppy Venue (Mamuro Venue) and Hanaku no Sato, but this time it was my first time for lunch. As usual, I ordered the Tsukemen set. Up until now, I've only used gravy as a dipping sauce, but this time I tried sesame soup for the first time. This is also the right answer! The sesame flavor and refreshing taste will make your meal smoother. The noodles were ``Kawahaba Udon'' as usual without cheating. Just 1,000 yen with vegetable tempura, inari sushi and dessert. As a bonus, we even had fruit punch after the meal. Thank you for the meal.
My first Kawahaba udon. I ordered the tsukemen duck soup set!! ️ The interior of the store has an old-fashioned feel. The store was very clean and I was very impressed. The clerk was also polite. Not only the room but also the toilet is clean. The restroom is Japanese style, so please be aware if you don't like Japanese style in the women's restroom. And the main topic: Kawahaba udon! The thin, wide noodles have an indescribable texture, but are easy to chew. I'm not a big fan of thick noodles, so I was glad that Kawahaba Udon was easy to eat. The noodle soup had just the right flavor for the tsukemen. It has a slightly fluffy feel to it, unlike regular udon. It has a strange texture. It seems that they also have soba noodles and set meals, so I would like to come again. Thank you for the meal!
