Kyoto, Japan｜Lunch House Genpe

Walked down from Kyoto Botanical Gardens. I had the Set A (shrimp and pork chop) and missus had the Set B (shrimp and minced beef). Both were awesome and delicious, plate filled with greens, potato salad, etc. Comes with tofu and miso soup. Feels like grandma's type of cooking - full of love. The host was friendly and hospitable. Must visit if around the area.

An old-fashioned western restaurant. I ordered a "Juxerre" that seems to be a delicious hamburger shop. Pork egg roll? Ketchup, soy sauce, sauce, anything seems to work, but I'm fine with it as is! It has enough flavor and the pork is delicious! There is some fat, but it has no smell and is refreshing. Is it because I don't use cheese and butter for the eggs, unlike Piccata? (Cheese and butter are just my intuition 💧) According to the proprietress, the regular customers are almost the same. There are regulars who talk to me and the atmosphere is good, but it's a pity that it's far from my house. The proprietress also said, "This is also a fate." ((´▽｀) As I said, I will visit again if I have a connection.

Delicious pork chops that are precious in Kyoto A western restaurant in a homely town. Delicious food served. For seasoning, a tangy, hornless sauce coats the tender, chewy meat. Meat and vegetables are voluminous, so even students will be hungry. When I visit again, I would like to try a different menu, such as hamburgers.
