More Comments at Google MapIt was a last-minute reservation, but it was very nice to have it reserved. The inside of the restaurant is small, but I was surprised that you could enjoy such authentic French cuisine in Abiko. Even Kaikan and Teikoku are not this authentic (I think it's because they were reserved for private use). The food is delicious and explained everything from amuse to dessert. However, I would like to know at the time of reservation if there is no need for menu information that is more expensive than the course price at the beginning (I would like it to be written on the menu). The taste is satisfying as it is seasoned using French techniques while making the most of each ingredient. I think the service is a little slow, but I would be happy if the tempo was a little better. But I'm satisfied. This time I wanted to bring my parents.
2022-01 Le Lu, a famous restaurant in Kashiwa where I had booked a month in advance for a French meal for my mother's birthday, was temporarily closed due to an unexpected coronavirus infection among its employees. I got a sudden cancellation on the phone that morning, so I hurriedly searched online and made a reservation at this restaurant. Although it was a last minute reservation, they accommodated us very kindly. I didn't have much time to think about it, but I looked at the menu on the website and ordered the ``Special course 4,620 yen + beef fillet steak Rossini style option 660 yen (tax included)'' for 3 people. The shop is about 500m west of the intersection on the north side of Teganuma Ohashi Bridge. There is a parking lot for about 5 cars behind the store. The restaurant is bright and clean, with an open kitchen that is rare in French restaurants. There were also counter seats. The seat we were shown to was a table for four people, but a large pillar occupied the space for one person, making it feel a little cramped. This can't be helped as it was a last-minute reservation, but I wonder if something can be done about this layout. I think this place would be better with tables facing sideways and seating for two. However, I didn't have the worst experience I had at another French restaurant last time, where I couldn't even have a conversation because of the large acrylic panel in the middle of the table, and they forcedly installed panels that were just a nuisance and had no meaning between family members. I think it's great that there isn't one. Infection control measures are by no means lax; each table is spaced with plenty of space, and we were asked to wash our hands in the washroom after entering the restaurant and disinfect with alcohol before taking our seats, so I think they are very strict in that regard. think. The dishes included amuse bouche, hors d'oeuvres, fish dishes, and meat dishes, all of which were excellent, with careful attention to ingredients, preparation, and appearance. I'm not a gourmet enough to accurately describe the taste, but to be honest, I was surprised that a place like this could serve such high-quality food. Judging from the content, I don't think you can eat a course at a first-class hotel at this price. My mother was delighted and said, ``This was my first time eating foie gras.'' (No, I don't think that will happen (lol)) The explanations for each dish were thorough, the bread served with the food was delicious, and the house wine was reasonably priced, and my wife said it was delicious. (On this day, I drank non-alcoholic sparkling wine, and my wife drank white and red house wine.) The slightly negative points were that on this day, the reservation for 11:30 was changed to 12:00 because the temperature of the oven did not rise, and that the reservation was changed to 12:00 because the temperature of the oven did not rise. As I was told, the interval between one dish and the next one was very long. Of course, I understand that this was because they had to accommodate a sudden reservation that morning, so it's not a big problem, but I arrived at the restaurant at 12:00 and left after finishing my meal at 2:00 p.m., so it took me 2 hours to get there. It ended up being the longest lunch I've ever had (lol). Even considering the table layout and serving time, the lunch course was quite satisfying in terms of food content and service. It's a shame that it's difficult to get to unless you have a car, and you can't drink wine, but there are lunch courses that cost less than 2,000 yen, so I think it's convenient for everyday use. I would definitely like to visit again for my usual drive lunch.
It was a store that I had been interested in since it opened. I should have gone earlier. It's a small, calm and clean store. stainless? Comes with chopsticks. Hors d'oeuvres are much easier to eat with chopsticks. You can see the commitment of the owner.
