Matsusaka, Mie, Japan｜Beef Club Noel

Got the set lunch for 5000yen -100g. if you are dropping by Matsusaka, you gotta stop by Noel. It tends to have a crowd. I was there at 11.45am on a weekday and I had to queue for 15mins thereabouts. The set lunch comes with coffee/tea, salad, soup of the day and a slab of meat. The meat is served alongside: 1. crispy baked/grilled potato (skin is crispy, the inside soft) 2. Grilled bell pepper (sweet, and seeds removed completely) 3. Boiled/grilled carrot The meat is tender and flavourful. If you have tried Kobe beef or wagyu beef, I highly recommend Matsusaka beef. It changed my perspective of wagyu or Kobe beef being the best. I absolutely love Matsusaka Beef. Tough to find, but lovely flavour to it. The card by the dish is to certify that they are using Matsusaka Beef.

Absolutely amazing! My friends had steak and it was the best I have ever tasted. I got shrimp. The town is know for meat so we were expecting it!

It is the beef steak we have had ever. It literally melted in our mouths. Matsusaka beef grade 5 - wow! We will come back again. Our steak was cooked by the owner Nitta You. What a distinct honour! He speaks English beautifully.
