Iwaki, Fukushima, Japan｜la Stanza

Loved the food.

When I visited Iwaki for the first time on a business trip, I had lunch at this restaurant. The shop is located right next to Iwaki Station. It's a little hard to see from the ground, but the logo of the shop is on the 3rd floor of the cream-colored building at the corner of the intersection. To the shop, take the elevator on the side of the first floor where there is a clothing store. When you get off the elevator, the store is already in front of you. I visited at the end of November, but the entrance is decorated with a Christmas tree. I visited just around 12:00, but there were two groups of customers. Sit in the seat you were guided to and check the menu. For lunch, there were multiple pasta and pizza sets and grilled pork shoulder loin. I ordered a chiffon cake (200 yen). The store staff explained that the Margherita can be made with pesticide-free San Marzano tomato sauce for an additional 150 yen, so I asked for it. The inside of the shop is not so large, but the large windows make the shop bright and open. The kitchen can also be seen through the window, giving it an open feeling. Is it the husband and wife in the kitchen? It is cooked by a man and a woman. There were two sofa seats in such an open shop. First of all, a plate of appetizers and salads arrived. A colorful plate of quiche, grilled vegetables, and lettuce salad. The quiche is made with fertilized eggs from Iwaki mixed with pesticide-free vegetables. It tastes like fried eggs. As for the grilled vegetables, the carrots are sweet and delicious. Margherita arrived while eating appetizers. It must have been less than 10 minutes since I ordered. It's early! Margherita is bigger than I expected. When I tried it, the dough was slightly thin, and the tomato sauce of San Marzano was fresh and delicious. However, I expected the mozzarella cheese to be a little richer, so it is a light pizza with a strong tomato sauce texture. It was a light pizza, so I ate it in no time. After that, drink iced coffee and chiffon cake arrived. The chiffon cake is very fluffy and has a very soft sweetness. It's not a rich sweetness, but this light sweetness is delicious. A woman with a lovely smile who looks like Risa Sudo (?) when she was young was very friendly and had a good impression. Like the chiffon cake, the soft atmosphere was very comfortable. I was also impressed by the sight of them bowing and seeing them off through the glass of the elevator until the elevator was out of sight, and it was a pleasant lunch. Thank you for the meal.

Both the pasta and pizza were excellent. The atmosphere inside the store is also cozy. The best part was the staff. It's a pleasant customer service. Correspondence with consideration and a smile. It's a good store that makes me want to post even though I rarely post/lol
