Hiroshima, Japan｜Ikinari Steak

I’ve passed several Ikinari Steak stores in Tokyo but never had the chance to try it until I passed by the Hiroshima outlet on the way to my hotel. It’s a super tiny restaurant but I managed to get a seat and was immediately served by a friendly waitress. I ordered the ribeye, soup and after seeing another patron enjoy the red wine, ordered a glass as well. The steak came out on a hot plate and the chef showed me the sauces to place on top of the steak and it then sizzled. Oh my, the ribeye was tender, delicious and super worth it - very oishi! Service was attentive and friendly as well. Oh, and don’t wear your best clothes as you will come out smelling of yummy grilled steaks. Thank you for my first memorable meal in Hiroshima! Will definitely return. :)

One of the most delicious steak i've had in Japan. The place is a little small but really cosy. The staff is really Nice and polite. The sauce is amazing.

Greeted by the aroma of beef steak upon entering. Menu comes with picture so its easy to order even if you understands limited Japanese. Steak is good and juicy and with the sweet corn charred from the hot plate, it's just amazing. Had the set so it comes with rice and miso soup. Prices are reasonable and will definitely be back for more steaks if I have the time. HERE:09JUL22
