Fujisawa, Kanagawa, Japan｜El Cariño

The first thing I thought of when I entered this restaurant was: man, this could be a scene out of a Quentin Tarantino film. And I mean that in the best way possible. Musty 70s (?) decor? Check. Loveable but slightly inexplicable fellow customers? Check. Either way their food is good and even better value for money, especially coming from Tokyo where an order of guac runs you the GDP of a minor island economy (for the record, el carino’s was ¥500 and AMAZING). Most of all the staff were friendly and very hardworking. I wish this restaurant continued success and looking forward to visit them again. Bonus points for being open on a Sunday night and until very late (was told last order is close to 1am ??)

Great stake and Hamburg restaurant.

Ordered a hand-kneaded hamburger. It seems that they knead directly by hand after receiving an order! (I actually heard it behind the back lol) After all, it is handmade, so it has a solid taste and is delicious 🍴😋 The atmosphere inside the store was also devised in a Mexican style, which was very good.
