More Comments at Google MapVery old school American burger joint feel. Over the top decoration which is just great. Nice selection of hooch. Had a typical burger set meal with fries and salad and a coke, delicious. Staff is very laid back. Went twice. If I was staying longer in Mito I'd go regularly.
I made a reservation at 18:00 and got a set of hamburger + fries + draft beer for 1100 yen. After going to Howaen, which is a 20-minute walk one way, to see the illuminated hydrangeas, I had another Kei original double cheeseburger on the way home 🤩🤩🤩 As expected, I took half home, but it's really good, whole grain buns, meat, cheese, pickles here 👍👍👍 If you ever come to Mito, please stop by🍔🍔🍔
I researched and came here to stay one night in Mito. Although there was a signboard, I was confused because it was a different store when I entered the entrance, but I managed to get there. I ordered a beer, onion rings & French fries, and two hamburgers. A woman responded by herself, but she was very kind. It took a while for the food to come out, but it was so delicious that I wondered if that's why it was able to bring out such flavor. The person I was with worked at a famous restaurant in America (though he is not a chef), so I gave him some advice about onions, although he may have been a bit inconvenienced. I won't go into details, but it seems like it depends on the thin skin of the onion. I've been eating hamburgers all over Japan, and this one tasted pretty close to the real thing. It's a small shop, but only one corner has an American atmosphere. I feel like I can just go by myself. I would like to visit again someday when I go to Mito. What will happen to the onions then? Also, if possible, it would be nice if the menu had simple English descriptions so that I could recommend it to my foreign friends. Thank you for the meal.
