I had read that the cakes at this hotel were delicious, so I was looking forward to it. They were having a buffet lunch in the main dining room, but when I told them I would like to have tea, they guided me to a quiet area on the right side as I entered. I sat in a comfortable seat and ordered two cake sets. It was 1250 yen including all drinks other than alcohol and cake. Drinks are only 900 yen, so you should definitely order the cake set! I have shortcake and Earl Grey. My husband has Mont Blanc and coffee. First of all, the Earl Gray was fragrant and very delicious. There were two cups in the pot. The shortcake is a moist sponge cake with a mildly sweet cream. Plenty of strawberries too. It was delicious. But what impressed me the most was Mont Blanc. Not only on the top, there was also a large sweet chestnut inside (kind of like marron glacé), and on the bottom was custard, meringue, and cake. And plenty of marron cream.
