Matsumoto, Nagano, Japan｜Karaage Center Matsumotohirataten

Our first night at Matsumoto, through the recommendation of the hotel, came to this place for dinner. Good choice of chicken dishes.

This place is bloody amazing! Not only is the fried chicken good, it rocks! The volume is way larger than other Japanese restaurants. Pricing is cheap (salad is a bit more than expected). You get lots of sauce options and the pickles (ginger and bean sprouts). Apparently a popular joint for the locals and I understand why. Good takeaway options too. Ample Parking is available and shouldn’t be an issue. Skip meals before going to this place. Or go during the day so you can walk it off. The food coma is real.

I thought the taste would be like that because of the large amount. That was not the case. You can eat it without any problem with the taste and cost performance that exceeds your expectations. The thing you should be careful about is the huge amount of rice 👏 Just be careful (*´︶`*)ﾉ
