Karuizawa, Nagano, Japan｜Rogutei Honten

Very nice restaurant in Karuizawa, less then 10mins drive from train station, and they have few parking slots provided for free. Seems they have shuttle bus service too (haven’t try) We tried the sukiyaki Wagyu set (5500yen@ person), which is very good price and the quality is excellent! Wagyu is very tasty and the portions in relatively big.

Very good value of money! Not many restaurants are open after 8pm within the Karuizawa area. Recommend to order the wagyu beef set, and then order some chicken and pork from the a la carte menu (seafood is not recommended). You can add ¥350 for a salad bar buffet but the food choices there is quite limited.

Great place for yakiniku. You have 3 options for food type: yakiniku, shabu shabu and tsukiyaki. The food is really good and drinks are great. It's a hidden place and had a good amount of parking. I'd highly recommend this place.
