Better Italian food than you get in Europe. Carbonara was amazing and little cheesy bruschettas with anchovy sauce yum. Waitress and the chef were just heavenly

Food was delicious and the hosts were wonderful and chatty. It was a very pleasant authentic Italian evening meal with Japanese restaurant charm. Note that there was no English menu but the hosts helped us and with Google translate we had no problems.

A homey family run establishment, a special place. The food was delicious and hearty, and they have a good wine selection also. The family owners were kind and accommodating. It was fun to be sitting on the floor in the Japanese style and eating pasta. Made for a memorable night. Definitely don't sleep on this one if you're looking for a more intimate dinner in Karuizawa.
