Chitose, Hokkaido, Japan｜Sumibiyakiniku Kongoen Suehirotei

Yakiniku buffet, heap assorted meat to choose from, comfy restaurant, lovely service. Only 10-15 mins walk from Aeon mall and chitose train station.

Out of all of the All You Can Eat Yakiniku places in the Chitose Station area, this one takes the cake. Seating is pretty limited and the restaurant is pretty popular, so definitely make a reservation a few days in advance if you can. If you do walk in, you'll have to be there early and with a party of four or less. If you do the AYCE, you can stay for up to two hours. They use a tablet system, but it's a little gimmicky if you choose a language other than Japanese. For instance, if you change it to English, the sub-menus will be in English, but the individual items will be in Japanese and the pictures of the items will be gone. Basically, if you can handle a little Japanese, it's best to stay on Japanese where you have pictures to guide you. They have plenty of sides to go with all sorts of different meats: vegetables, jeon, small bibimbop bowl, french fries, to name a few. Standard Yakiniku downside: You will smell like grilled meat when you leave. I ate in a party of three and spent 3900 JPY (26 USD). An absolutely insane price for the amount that I ate. For the drinkers, they have an All You Can Drink option too!
