I think this restaurant is named 'Meigetsu-en'. Recommended by a local friend, this yakiniku restaurant is an absolute hidden treasure in Sapporo. For a start, most of their all-you-can-eat/drink courses are under 4000 yen per head, so it's great value for money. The thing is, at this price range you'd normally expect average cuts of meat and watered down drinks, but not here! Some of the cuts of meat from the all-you-can-eat menu were very nice indeed, and they aren't skimpy with the servings either - the meat is piled onto the plates for you to grill. Granted, the place does get extremely smoky, and the walls appear to be just plywood, but this gives the restaurant a great atmosphere. I could see from the looks of the other patrons there, everyone was loving the meat and beer flowing that night, and it seemed to be popular with mainly locals. If you're in the Asabu area, give this place a shot! And if possible, call before to reserve a table.

Sagari is recommended. It's definitely better to make a reservation. There is a parking lot in front of the store for about 2 cars, but there are several coin parking lots nearby. I think this is a hidden gem in Aso. The all-you-can-eat and drink price is exquisite, so you should definitely order here. We often have families, including ours, so we appreciate that they offer an all-you-can-eat price for children. It will be grilled using shichirin and sawdust charcoal.

I made a reservation because it wasn't crowded at all on weekdays, but when I went around 7pm, it was empty. The restaurant is run by two staff members, and the food is served quickly, making it stress-free. The tongue is the most delicious I've eaten. It's a shame that there's a limit of 2 servings per person, but that's understandable, and I think people will order this all the time. The bibimbap, kimchi, and vegetables were all delicious. Also, the charcoal grill is amazing, the best. All you can eat and drink for 3,900 yen is a great deal. I will go again!
