Chichibu, Saitama, Japan｜Chichibu Yakiniku Ichiban-kan

I was a little unsure of this place when I arrived. Very smokey, lots of people. I was quickly greeted by a very friendly and accommodating member of staff that helped me feel very comfortable and welcome. The place was full so one table offered one of their grills so I could have a seat. I had the tongue, wagu beef and something else that was a garlic mix wrapped in beef. All prepared perfectly, the beef was amazing and affordable. An amazing experience, I recommend you try this place of you're in Chichibu. (No English though)

Entered the store one hour before closing on a weekday in late October 2022. We had a late dinner. A style of grilling over charcoal in a charcoal brazier. I was able to eat various rare parts of the meat. Two adults visited. We had one offal set, one rice (medium) each, and shiitake mushrooms, which was just the right amount.
