I learned from CBC TV's Hanasaki Times that the Uotaro Gozen with seasonal conger eel dishes (sashimi or tempura) is available in June, so I visited Uotaro Honten. I came to the store for the first time in a few years, but the BBQ space was greatly expanded, and there seemed to be nearly 100 barbecue tables alone, but it was already full. It was ready, and there was a waiting list of 30 people (arriving around noon on Sunday) at the market where you can eat Uotaro Gozen. I spent about an hour looking at the fish, shellfish, strings, and processed foods sold at the market. The 3300 yen Uotaro Gozen comes with fried large shrimp, conger eel tempura, today's simmered (Alfonsino simmered on the day), your choice of sashimi plate (red sea bream, squid and clams on the day), 2 small dishes, steamed egg custard, and rice. It comes with miso soup, so the cost performance is high and the taste is certain, so I finished it.

You can use PayPay. A restaurant located inside Uotaro where you can enjoy fresh fish. There is a tatami room and the atmosphere is good. The system allows you to issue a reserved ticket in advance and enter when you are called, allowing you to decide on a menu and enjoy shopping while you wait. Seafood changes daily. There are so many seasonal items to choose from that you will be spoiled for choice. The sashimi was thick and delicious. You can get larger portions or refills of rice for an additional charge. The rice is delicious, but the seaweed tsukudani is even better. The salad was carpaccio style and contained chopped fish. As expected from Aichi, the miso soup is red. Wakame is delicious.

On a weekend in March, my family took a drive to the Chita Peninsula. I was searching for a place to have lunch and found this place. I was imagining a normal restaurant with delicious seafood, but when I arrived I was pleasantly surprised. This restaurant was part of a large market-like commercial facility that mainly sells seafood. There were about 2 groups of customers waiting, but we were shown to our seats in about 5 minutes. The inside of the store is quite large. The menu looks delicious. We had set meals centered around dried fish, sashimi, and fried shrimp. The dried fish was chewy, the fried shrimp was large, and the sashimi was delicious. The whole family was satisfied and left with a full stomach. Thank you for the meal.
