Every fruit-lover knows that winter means strawberries in Japan. This rest stop lets you pick and eat all the fresh strawberries you want for one hour. The facility itself is huge, and you'll need to take the shuttle bus to get to the greenhouse. The long racks lined with strawberry plants are adjustable, meaning they can be lowered to a better height for kids to partake. It's a simple but considerate touch that allows them to pick strawberries by themselves. Once they get the hang of it, they'll be flying up and down the rows looking for the best one. This place grows four different types of strawberries, each with their own levels of sweet and tartiness. We got to sample them all at our own pace. Once we had our fill, we went back to the gift shop and found lots of peanut products for sale. Peanuts are a Chiba specialty, after all. They also had tons of local produce, so this rest stop is perfect for picking up healthy snacks before hitting the road.

The bold seafood BBQ is grilled directly on charcoal fire. The staff will help to turn the grill carefully. There are limited abalone and king crab. Others include salamander snails, angel shrimp, scallops, oysters, and sea clams. For individual visitors, the 90-minute test fee is 4,200 yen.

Tomiura Mart doesn't have many farm-fresh vegetables, so if you want to buy vegetables, I recommend the farmer's market because it's cheaper. There are many rare vegetables! Summer vegetables are the best🥰 Salad lotus root, cherry tomato, salad okra, unusual eggplant, unusual carrot, sorghum 60 yen per stick Local people came to the store and bought summer mandarin oranges. It was sour, but it looked delicious. ...... There is a Hamayaki restaurant right next to the bus tour destination for lunch. I was by the window but it was hot😵😵 However, the charcoal grilled shellfish, spiny lobster (small half), snow crab, squid and shishamo, pork skewers, beef skewers, sausages, fruit, and cake were all you could eat. All-you-can-drink soft drinks are also available. Especially 🦪Oysters, turban shells, honbinosu, and clams were really delicious! The guys at the shop are considerate💯. They were very helpful, opening the oysters for us around the table and teaching us how to eat them. I had some raw sweet shrimp and rice left so I could make a sweet shrimp bowl, but...to be honest, I didn't need it.
