There aren't a ton of Indian restaurants in Japan but they aren't rare either. There are two main ones in this area and Royal is one of them. The food is pretty good, though a bit toned down for Japanese tastes (quite similar to American Indian). Their spiciness scale is about equivalent to an average American scale (which is hotter than Japanese but milder than proper Indian) so I ordered "hot mouth" or "karai guchi" which I would call medium- hot in America. One interesting thing is their cheese naan had a lot of mozzarella style cheese, way more than anywhere I've had in America (it was like a quesadilla), which I appreciate, but it was unexpected. A paneer naan option would be nice. We had a group of 10 people and the food came out pretty fast, 5-10 minutes for everyone. Prices are reasonable for a set ranging from 1000-2000¥, so $7-15. Oh the strawberry lassi was sweet and delicious, but I bit small. Similar to most American places they only offer sweet lassis, not salty or spiced versions.

Taste and Staff service is good.

The food here is delicious and the staff is very patient and kind.
