I went there with great trepidation after reading the reviews. There was someone who looked like the store manager, but there was nothing special about it... The female clerk was very considerate and I was very grateful. The iron plate wasn't coated with Teflon either, so it didn't feel like it was falling apart. I also checked the plates and they were clean (^^) Maybe it has improved? I think. On the negative side, the wiring was a mess and I thought it was dangerous. Is it a ground wire or something? There were some green wires sticking out and I was scared that I might break them if I pulled them! I think it would be a good idea to loosen the line a little and let it run to the foot of the desk! 2023/05/20 I wonder if the ground wire has been improved and people are reading the reviews? I thought so (^^) I'm glad that I can now order online and don't have to order each time!
