Famous location for Gunma's 'himokawa' udon noodles located on the Numata cliffs overlooking the valley below. Taste, presentation and restaurant atmosphere were all very good & authentic. Tatami seating available. Ample parking and seating. Recommended if you are in the area.

Nice view restaurant, great food and reasonable price

I had Himokawa Udon with tempura. The tempura was crispy and delicious without any unnecessary batter, and the udon was chewy and delicious. The pickled ginger that came with it was so delicious that I bought it as a souvenir. We recommend this location as it has a nice view and is right next to the expressway exit.
