Very tasty

This is a Yakiniku restaurant that has been around for a long time. There are no modern menus. However, there are many regular customers, and I think the price is cheap considering the quality. I've eaten Tonchan from other restaurants in the past, but I've never found Tonchan that is as fresh, tender, and reasonably priced as this one. The way the fat sticks and the miso sauce is also exquisite. In addition to the offal, Hida beef short rib brings out the sweetness of the meat, and goes perfectly with white rice. When we asked the master, it seems that there are many repeat customers for the beef tongue. Reservations are required as it gets crowded on holidays.
