Nagano, Japan｜ＡＢＡＢ (アブ アブ )

I'm a first time visitor in Nagano, and had little expectations given I had read it was one of the cities with lesser to offer, compared to other bigger and more bustling cities in Japan. However, this little, cosy, homely cafe situated on the second floor, a random pick I had found on Google after failing to get a reservation at a popular Japanese restaurant, made me enjoy my day and appreciate the simplicity. The food was very nostalgic and reminded me of my grandparents, and their style of cooking. I had the tomato spaghetti with hamburger, and the curry omelette rice. Both were voluminous and filling, packed a good taste, a little too oily for my liking, but nevertheless did the job of making me feel very well taken care of and cared. Very affordable, and free coffee from the quiet but caring old man!
