More Comments at Google MapRandom find during roadtrip to Karuizawa. Made a stop due to reviews and was totally surprised. Small place ran by super friendly owners helping us to make decisions on what to eat. Everything was unique! Everyone chose something diff, but to me I liked the squid ink (tasty and light broth, unlike pastas) and anchovies version. Later found out they are rated in a ramen mag and owners gave us a note saying all natural ingredients haha.
Seated around 13:00. The store is quite crowded. (2 tables, 2 tatami rooms, 3 counters) The inside of the shop is fashionable and bright enough to be thought of as a ramen shop. The menu near the seat further raises the atmosphere of the meal. Purchase a meal ticket for 900 yen for plain soy sauce ramen and 150 yen for a large serving. Guided to the counter, it arrived in about 15 minutes. The thick soup of white water is impressive. However, this soup is not as heavy as it looks and is easy to eat. Also, the thin noodles are well tangled and quite delicious. At first glance, it looks like the richest dish in the world, but it's light and doesn't feel difficult to eat at all. The char siu and bamboo shoots are also good accents, and the speed of slurping the noodles does not slow down. I never thought I could eat such delicious ramen in Numata. I would love to see more seats at the counter. I ate plain hot water this time, but other menus look pretty delicious. I would like to try something else next time. If you live in Numata or are visiting Numata, we recommend that you stop by.
Since there are no chemical seasonings used, my son and I thought it was worth eating just for that reason. My son visited there once and last time he had regular soy sauce ramen, so this time he had hot water ramen and fried rice with mapo tofu. I normally ordered the soy sauce ramen with flavored egg. The soy sauce ramen that I ate had a gentle soup that was typical of Mukacho, and the flavor and umami of the soup stock came through well. I thought there wasn't much soup compared to the amount of noodles, but it was just enough to drink up and I didn't feel guilty. I tried some of the hot water soup, but it had a bit of an animal-like taste to it, so the soy sauce ramen seemed to suit my taste better. However, it seems that a lot of meat is used to bring out this flavor, so this may be unique to Mukacho. Since it was lunch on a Sunday, I was prepared to wait, but luckily I was shown to my seat easily and the meal was served in less than 10 minutes after handing over my ticket, so I didn't have to be there for more than 30 minutes to eat. I left the store. I was left with a good impression of the customer service, which was friendly and warm like a restaurant in the countryside. I'll visit you again. Thank you for the meal.
