I stopped by on my way home from a visit to the hospital. Ogiya is famous for its miso ramen, but this is my first time at this restaurant. I was hesitant to give up because the parking lot was so narrow and the area was crowded with ramen and other restaurant chains, but I managed to park there. When you enter the store, there is a nice atmosphere with comfortable jazz music playing. The Ogiya-san I know had a more unsophisticated image... The store is kept clean. I took a seat at the nearest counter and reached for the menu, but apparently the menu wasn't sitting well and I ended up dropping it on the other side of the counter. I was grateful to the female store clerk who picked it up without breaking a smile, and I was relieved by the real (cloth) towel. I ordered the same green onion miso ramen as usual. The rice is free and small, but this small size is good for refreshing your palate. I thought the ramen itself was a bit oily, but it was delicious. I once again realized that the personality and atmosphere of the restaurant are important factors in enjoying delicious ramen.

I also ordered Ogiya gyoza ~ Ogiya gyoza is really delicious 😊
