More Comments at Google MapThe night business has started, so let's go! ! The tonkotsu soy sauce tsukemen had a rich soup that was delicious with the chewy noodles~☆ What should I eat next time? . (lol)
I visited because I was worried that everyone's evaluation was not very good. My impression after eating it was delicious! By all means, I want to come to eat again .... I had the thick seafood soy sauce tsukemen for 880 yen. I was a little surprised to see a large amount of backfat floating in the dipping soup after a long time. Speaking of Higashi-Ikebukuro Taishoken, it was the image of Shaba-style soy sauce "Mori Soba". It seems that rich seafood and pork bone soy sauce contain a lot of back fat. I like light ramen, so I wondered if I made a mistake in my choice, but when I took a bite, it was delicious! The chewy thick noodles are covered with plenty of dipping sauce, making the noodles and soup a perfect match. It seems that the backfat also clings to it and has the effect of producing sweetness. If you give a ticket for Tsukemen here, the staff will always ask you how much noodles you want. You can choose from 350g normal, 250g small, or 500g medium. When I chose less, I chose a boiled egg because I could choose one topping. It seems that you can choose toppings worth 100 yen such as char siu and bamboo shoots. When I entered the restaurant at 11:50, there was not a single customer, but during the 13 minutes until the arrival of the rice bowl, customers came in one after another, and it was easily over 10 people. The amount of noodles was called medium or normal. I didn't have enough noodles, but it was enough. If you want to eat as much as you want, you can eat the medium portion, but you might want to sprinkle some chili or shichimi to change the taste. However, there were peppers on the table, but there were no chili peppers, so in order to enjoy the taste without getting tired of it, I think it's appropriate to have a normal serving. In the soup, a large delicious roasted pork fillet, half a flavored egg, and thick menma are sunk. In my case, I also got 1 flavored egg as a free topping. It's good that one piece of flavored egg is well seasoned, but I prefer it a little sweeter, and the saltiness stands out. I didn't feel that way about half the taste balls... This shop has 10 types of tsukemen, 4 types of ramen, 6 types of ramen sets, and 6 types of set meals. The owner is the only person in the kitchen, so I think it must be quite difficult. Customers can't choose as carefully as I can when the ticket machine is busy, so it might be difficult for first-timers to find what they like. I think it would be helpful if there was advice such as a picture or something displayed, a simple recommendation, a rich recommendation, etc. Since it opened in October 2019, I expect that it will continue to evolve into a store that is easy to use. Next time, I would like to try the tsukemen, which is probably the most typical Higashi-Ikebukuro Taishoken dish, and then try various variations. Sorry for the long wait! 2020/2/19 Visit
For about 25 years, I have visited various Taishoken shops mainly in Tokyo. I was fascinated by the sweetness and sourness, and the thick and chewy noodles. Among the various Taishoken, this shop is one of my top three. Two of the three have unfortunately closed. That's right, it's my favorite flavor in the store I'm doing now. I tried other menus, but the Yappari Tsukemen is delicious. The price is also cheap.
