Nikko, Tochigi, Japan｜Aizuya Shokudo

Located in the main street, a few steps away from the Kegon waterfall, this restaurant serves local simple food such as noodles, rice, curry. It seems a family run business by elderly women, friendly and nice.

A wonderful experience. The food was delicious and felt like home cooked.

We were warmly greeted by an elderly lady. We had the katsu curry, yuba, soba, mushrooms tempura and oden. We loved everything especially the curry!
