Hiroshima, Japan｜Hirata Ramen

One of the best ramen dishes we have had in Japan, very cheap, lovely man that ran the place. Was 600 yen for ramen with pork and the pork was so good, if you are travelling from Miyajimacho back to Hiroshima you have to stop here!

It's a very nice ramen restaurant next to the train station. It is a family run restaurant and Ojichan (grandpa 86) is making the noodles for the ramen at 6 am in the morning. In case you like kimchi, get kimchi ramen. He actually imports that straight from Korea, because of the authentic taste. Very good price, friendly owners, amazing taste...and don't get me started to talk about their oden. Just heaven! It's my mission to try every single ramen they have. So far Miso Būta Ramen and Kimchi Shōyu Ramen. Both are fantastic!

Entered around 13:00 on August 10, 2023 The parking lot seems to be able to park 3 to 4 cars in front of the store. There were about 10 people who could enter the store without waiting. I sat down at the counter, ordered soy sauce grilled pork ramen (char siu noodles) for 600 yen, and arrived in about 10 minutes. Soy sauce is a solid soup and it is delicious. The noodles were a little hard, but overall the ramen was delicious. It's nice to have a cheap menu Thank you for the meal.
