Atsugi, Kanagawa, Japan｜Men'ya Shokudō

I love this ramen shop:) I should be noted that the staff's customer service and the atmosphere in the restaurant are excellent. The staff's customer service includes natural smiles, a sense of familiarity and distance, and time to see off their customers outside the store. I love it so much. The atmosphere of the restaurant is very Showa-era style Japanese, and the chairs are very comfortable to sit, the tables are spacious enough to accommodate family customers without making them feel cramped. I also liked there is no ticket vending machine, the staff is taking your order. The ramen is a refreshing soy sauce ramen with a hint of niboshi (dried sardines). It is delicious. I strongly recommend this ramen shop if you come near by.

Very nice restaurant! The decor was purposefully retro and very cool. I tried the ramen and gyoza both were delicious! The menu had no English on it so if you can’t read Japanese, I recommend using the Google lens app to translate it. This is a must try restaurant in Atsugi.

Great hole in the wall, tiny, delicious meal, full of artwork from the 60’ies, kids friendly, highly recommended.
